Opinel's classic knife is made in the French region of Savoy, and the firm has a story that goes way back into the nineteenth century.
Wew sell these in two versions:
The no.7 has an 8cm blade; the no.8 has an 8.5cm blade.
We're selling the carbon steel version as opposed to stainless. Carbon steel takes a better edge but may need sharpening a little more often. It may also discolour a little.
