Cheese Platters

These gorgeous earthenware cheese platters are made by potter Penny Simpson and calligrapher Suzanne Haines.  They'd be equally good for a selection of individual cheeses, or for one of our cheese cakes. 

A beautiful, handmade platter for some beautiful, handmade cheeses: what could be better than that? 

The platters come in two sizes.  The large one is about 16" (or 18" where the handles are), and this would work for a cake with a large base layer such as a big wheel of cheddar.  The small one is about 13" (or 15"), which would be fine for one with a Yarg-sized base.  There's also choice of colours, as you can see.

Suzanne has decorated these with names of cheeses, but you could have the text personalised.  For a wedding, this could be the relevant names, date and place.

The platters will be made to order: allow 4-6 weeks!
