Made with unpasteurised milk

Pitchfork Cheddar

from £9.21

Pitchfork Cheddar is a relatively new cheese but its makers - Todd and Maugan Trethowan - intend it to be as traditional as they can possibly make it. A new-old cheese, if you like.

The brothers made their name with Gorwydd Caerphilly before moving from Wales to a new dairy in north Somerset where there was a more plentiful supply of really good quality organic milk. Pitchfork - their new project - quickly won admirers and received the great accolade of being named 'Best Cheddar' at the World Cheese Awards in Italy in 2019!

Unpasteurised, not vegetarian.
