Find & Foster

Find & Foster is the beloved project of Devon couple, Polly & Mat Hilton. They discovered that there were lots of old cider orchards that were more or less forgotten: neglected ... what a waste! Using these apples, many of them very old varieties, they've created a range of superb ciders, of which we are offering three:

Huxham: a keeved cider (lower alochol, sweeter) named after one of their main orchards, Huxham has a subtle natural carbonation, rich, apply sweetness balanced by acidity and soft tannins. Huxham is seen on the right in our picture.

Vintage 2020. 3/4% ABV. 75cl

Blossom: A still cider (on the left in the picture above), Blossom is crisp, vibrant, smooth and dry with white blossom aromas. Wild fermented (i.e no added yeast).

Vintage 2020. 6% ABV. 75cl

Root: Also still, this is a full-bodied savoury dry cider. Beautifully smooth. Root (the dark bottle in our picture) uses bittersweet apples from ancient Exe valley orchards, is wild fermented before aging in French oak barrels,
