The Strongbox

One for lovers of big, big, BIG flavoured cheeses (and we know there's a lot of you out there!). This box will be made up of our choice of four super strong cheeses. We might start with Quicke's Vintage Cheddar, a superb example of cheddar that's matured for two years. Then maybe we'll add Extra Mature Wyfe Of Bath - being matured for around a year, this is significantly bolder in flavour than the regular 'young' Wyfe - or perhaps Extra Mature Gunstone, a wonderful crumbly, deep flavoured goat's cheese made by Norsworthy Dairy. Other cheeses may include Cornish Kern - Supreme Champion at the 2017 World Cheese Awards, Colston Bassett Stilton, our favourite version of the classic English blue cheese, Extra Mature Cornish Gouda, another cheese that's matured for a whopping two years, or Bovey Straight, exclusive to the Cheese Shed!

You'll want some biscuits, and these are provided in the form of Furniss Cornish Sea Salt Oatcakes - but if you fancy a little something extra there are three further options: add either Clare Gault's Spiced Damson Chutney, Otter Vale's Curried Peach Chutney or spicy and sweet Gran Luchito Chipotle Chilli Honey.
